Our Lord has opened doors into some Texas State Prisons.  

Missionaries Cliff  Brown,  Steve Wiest and Pastor Bob Cole have formed a Prison Team operating out of First Baptist Church of Combes, Texas involving preaching, teaching and some personal counseling.  There have been many professions of faith since the beginning of this ministry in 1998.

Presently carrying on ministry in the Texas State Prisons Renaldo López Unit and Manuel Segovia Unit located just outside of Edinburg, Texas. Also the Willacy Country Unit in Raymondville, Texas. Too, the New Federal Prison located in Raymondville, Texas. Here Missionaries Olene Brown and Ms Loreta Sanchez of Combes First Baptist Church minister to women inmates.

Also; our team ministers in the Federal Immigration Customs Enforcement Detention Center located in Raymondville, Texas. This is a new center housing some 2,000 detainees and will be enlarging to 5,000 capacity soon.

This ministry is rapidly growing with opportunities.
